Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership
Indonesia has officially applied to join the CPTPP. The decision comes after both the incumbent and incoming presidents expressed support for joining the trade agreement. While Indonesia has been hesitant to join in the past due to its focus on the RCEP, it now sees the CPTPP as a way to stay competitive and expand its trade partnerships.
