Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (USA)
The US and Myanmar signed Tuesday a Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA), creating a platform for "ongoing dialogue and cooperation" on trade and investment issues between the two countries.
If concluded, the TIFA will create opportunities for US companies interested in doing business in West Africa, and will assist in addressing impediments to U.S. trade and investment in the region.
