Indonesia and the European Union concluded a free trade agreement on Tuesday after nine years of talks, with both aiming to boost exports and investment and to offset the impact of U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs.
The European Union (EU) and Indonesia have finalised a trade agreement to be signed next week in Bali island, a senior minister from the Southeast Asian nation said. The signing will occur on September 23, Indonesia's senior economic minister Airlangga Hartarto told Reuters.
