Although the free trade agreement with the United States has been receiving the lion's share of the nation's attention, South Korea and India will continue free trade talks next week to discuss the timetable and extent of tariff reductions, Korea's Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said Thursday.
Apex chamber Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is working on a set of industry recommendations to come up with guidelines for signing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs). The WTO and other Trade Agreements Committee of the chamber is finalising the recommendations which will be submitted to the government within a month.

The World Trade Organisation chief Pascal Lamy is upbeat about global trade talks, with the U.S. having indicated that it will go further to cut trade distorting farm subsidies.
